Gary Powis


Gary is a Chartered Surveyor with over 24 years’ experience in the valuation of a wide variety of commercial and residential property plus development sites/properties for private individuals, public bodies, Registered Providers, companies, banks, pension funds in a wide geographical area covering Greater London and beyond into the surrounding Home Counties.

He is a Director at Strettons and head of the Development Consultancy Department, which regularly undertakes work within the development sector, including development appraisals/valuations across all affordable and private housing tenures, commercial premises and advice for negotiations on property/land acquisition.

Gary joined Strettons in mid-2007 as a senior surveyor and has since been promoted to Director. He entered the profession in 1994 when he joined the Valuation Office. Gary worked at Redbridge, Islington and Enfield Offices and in that time was involved in the valuation of commercial and residential properties. From 1998 to 2007, he worked at Gilmartin Ley Chartered Surveyors, which is a firm based in North London, providing advice within Greater London and the Home Counties and on leaving was an Associate Partner.
