Paul Joseph

Paul joined Strettons in 2013 and is the Director of the Receivership Department. He is a Registered Property Receiver, a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an RICS Registered Valuer.

Paul has taken appointments as a Fixed Charge Law of Property Act Receiver for many years. Cases have been across all property types throughout the country, including high-value residential properties in London, development sites in the West Country, Grade I and II Listed buildings, as well as serviced apartments in the north of England. Paul’s pragmatic approach to receivership enables him to navigate the interests of the lenders and borrowers through to a successful resolution of the case.

Before specialising in receivership, Paul worked on the valuation of a number of residential-led development schemes for both private developers and housing associations.

Before joining Strettons, Paul worked at Welbeck Investment Management where he advised a number of high net worth clients on the acquisition of high-value residential properties in Central London. During this time, he also worked with a leading developer on the feasibility of a scheme comprising 500 units in East London and other regeneration schemes in north London.

In his spare time, Paul is a Trustee of Langdon Foundation and a Director of Langdon Housing, a charity specialising in helping those with learning disabilities. He also enjoys going to the theatre and visiting the many restaurants in London with his wife, as well as swimming.
