Project Summary

This 1980’s office arranged over 5 floors is located in the heart of Shoreditch and is owned by the BT Pension fund with client William Hill taking it as their offices 3 years ago.

Avalon house is in a prime location just off of Commercial Street and in close proximity to London Liverpool Street Station (0.4 miles), Old Street Station (0.5 miles) and Shoreditch High Street station (0.2 miles).

Strettons were instructed to manage the property around the time they moved out, which saw Strettons’ City & City Fringe Commercial Agency team assist to let out 2 of the 4 floors. 

Our Asset Management team advised to refurbish the common areas which included a major upgrade to the lobby. The team liaised with contractors to begin works that would attract more quality tenants. As normal protocol, the team also quickly took over the health and safety and advised where needed.

 Working together with our complementing departments, we helped mitigate the void period and stop the loss of rent.
