The site is situated on the south side of Coopers Lane, almost opposite of Farmer Road and close to the junction with High Road, Leyton. A112 High Road, Leyton is one of the principal routes from Walthamstow to Stratford and road access to A406 North Circular Road, A12 to Blackwall Tunnel and M11/M25 Motorways is good. Leyton Midland Station (suburban Gospel Oak to Barking line) is within walking distance and several buses run to Stratford and Walthamstow along the High Road.

The site was marketed as an existing industrial building with development potential. Offers were invited on both conditional and unconditional basis.

After some 40 parties showed interest in the property, the site was sold in excess of £1.15m to an unconditional purchaser.

The site has now been redeveloped to provide 10 flats as a mixture of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.
