Commercial Agency Q2 Trends and Transactions


Our Commercial Agency has seen a strong Q2, with 90 completions and 62 currently under offer across a range of industrial, retail and office spaces.

As the market continues to evolve, we have noticed the following trends:

• There is still a strong demand for industrial assets. A highlight for our Industrial and Logistics team was the landmark £44million transaction for longstanding client Reynolds, who sold its urban logistics warehouse to LondonMetric Property.

• As restrictions continue to ease, we have seen increased demand in both suburban and centrally located commercial areas for office space. We have leased offices to construction giant SkanskaDepartment for Work and Pensions, a new HQ for Crocs, and a Walthamstow base for Get Set UK, offering job opportunities and training to the local community.

• We have seen a resurgence in suburban retail across north and east London, reflected in the latest EG On-Demand Rankings, where we are ranked 2nd for 36,821 sq ft of retail space transacted in London.
