Sam Boothby
Sam joined Strettons in June 2024 and heads up the Lease Advisory department in the Valuations and Advisory services team. He specialises in commercial property, providing valuations, advising, and entering negotiations on behalf of clients until completion of the transaction. These instructions concern lease renewals, rent reviews and re-gears and working collaboratively with leasing agents and property management regarding letting strategies and relocation options, ensuring best value is achieved for these assets.
Before joining Strettons, Sam worked for five years at CBRE in retail, acting on behalf of institutional landlords, namely Hammerson, LandSec, Schroders Investment, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and British Land. He also worked for a collection of central London landlord clients ranging from pension trusts to private family-owned assets. He advised CBRE's corporate clients including William Hill, Lloyds Banking Group, TSB and HSBC on lease events across London and the South East. Sam has also acted for occupiers, advising Greggs PLC directly on their entire London and South East property portfolio regarding lease renewals, rent reviews, lease acquisition and disposals, and freehold valuations and disposals.
