Strettons Launches Structured Finance Service

June 12 2026

New department brings valuation-led insight to property funding

Multi-disciplinary property consultancy Strettons has launched a Structured Finance department, extending its advisory work into the arrangement of funding for clients’ property transactions. The service covers residential, commercial and mixed-use assets and is led by Andreas Kasiouris, Head of Structured Finance.

Strettons advises a range of clients, from smaller investors to large family offices, sourcing funding across acquisitions, refinancing, development, refurbishment and portfolio growth through its relationships with banks, debt funds and alternative lenders.

The department has been established to help clients navigate the wide range of funding options now available. With a significant volume of property loans due to expire in the coming years, many borrowers will need to refinance into a more complex market. Strettons already insures £1.32 billion of property on behalf of clients, and the new department complements that work, drawing on its understanding of clients’ assets to support their wider property objectives. As an established adviser, the firm is well placed to stay close to clients and the detail of their portfolios.

The department provides a boutique service, drawing on Strettons’ experience across a wide range of asset classes. Strettons is a full Member of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB), giving clients and lenders confidence that they are dealing with a professional operating to the highest standards.

Clients deal directly with Kasiouris, who heads the new department. As Head of Structured Finance, he advises clients on funding strategy and portfolio structuring. His previous experience in valuation and advisory roles provides additional insight into how lenders assess property-backed transactions, helping clients secure the most appropriate funding solutions for their objectives.

Andreas Kasiouris, Head of Structured Finance at Strettons, said: “There is so much funding available, and so many options, that it can be hard for clients to know which way to turn. Some brokers arrange a deal without first taking the time to understand a client’s longer-term objectives. Coming from an advisory background, I start with those objectives, and arranging the finance to progress a client’s projects is a natural extension of our work. With my background in valuation, I can sit down with a client, structure things in the right way and go to the market with a strong case.”

“We work with clients in all sectors, from auction purchases and development schemes to portfolio refinancing. This is a boutique service, and being part of Strettons means we are closer to our clients and the assets behind their decisions. My relationships across the lending market mean we can source funding suited to each individual requirement.”

The launch of Structured Finance further broadens Strettons’ offering, complementing its commercial, residential, industrial, auction and advisory services, and reflects the firm’s continued growth across the UK property market.
