Strettons Launches Combined Agency Division

Strettons has unveiled a new look Agency division following the firm’s relocation to its new London headquarters in Shoreditch. 

 

The move to Telephone House has brought all Strettons’ staff together in one central location. By uniting its people in a single, collaborative space, Strettons is reshaping how it delivers services, making it easier for teams to share knowledge and work seamlessly on complex instructions. 

 

Within its newly combined agency division, Strettons has created dedicated office, retail and leisure, industrial, land and investment teams to support sector-focused growth. Structuring the teams in this way ensures clients have access to deep specialist expertise while benefitting from the strength of a combined, multi-faceted agency division.

This comes at a time of growth for Strettons, with the offices, retail & leisure and industrial teams continuing to be consistently ranked as a top three agent across east and north London, the City Fringe and Essex both by number of transactions and total square footage sold or let. 

 

Recent significant transactions by the land team, led by Neal Matthews and Aasia Pathan, underline the scale of the work being handled. Acting on behalf of Praedius, Strettons advised on the sale of Crown Wharf and Mayer Perry Wharf in Canning Town, transactions that will deliver 871 new homes alongside a £750 million hyperscale data centre. The schemes represent one of east London’s most significant regeneration and infrastructure projects in recent years. In the past week, Strettons’ development land specialists’ have also successfully secured the exchange on a 7-acre ‘urban village’ site in east London. 

 

The retail & leisure team, led by Chris Collins and Sean Crowhurst,  continues to work with Travelodge, finding new locations for the hotel chain across north and east London. Strettons advised on the recent acquisition of 6 Broad Street Place and 15-17 Eldon Street, a significant office site opposite Liverpool Street station in the City of London that will be transformed into a new Travelodge, subject to planning approval.  

 

The offices team, led by Tom Schwier & Jon Cuthbert, remains one of the most active in the city fringe, east and north London markets.  Recently the team has worked with diverse occupiers including JW Anderson, part of luxury goods retailer LVMH, fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov, leading electric charging infrastructure business, FastNed and a range of other third sector, creative and professional services businesses. 

 

The investment team, led by Mark Bolton, continues to be involved with a wide variety of commercial and mixed-use assets across Greater London, while the industrial team, led by Neal Matthews and Chris Wade, acts on spaces ranging from large-scale units in prominent industrial parks to smaller warehouse and workshop spaces.
