Strettons acting on Travelodge's expansion in East and North London

TravelodgeTravelodge is currently seeking development opportunities that could incorporate a new Travelodge hotel, either on its own or as part of a mixed-use scheme. They will consider new developments and conversions of existing buildings and hotels operated by other brands. We are pleased to be working with our longstanding client, Travelodge, as they continue their ambitious growth plans throughout London and the UK.
Having worked with the hotel operator for many years on several successful acquisitions, Strettons' territory is expanding to include North London as well as East London. This search includes development sites and also opens doors for commercial property owners considering selling or leasing their hotels or large buildings for hotel use.
Recent acquisitions in this region of London are particularly notable as they involve key locations ideal for business and leisure tourists reflecting the brand's diverse portfolio and strong offerings to local communities.

Travelodge Target Locations
This expansion is a call to action for commercial property owners or their representatives in North and East London who might have suitable opportunities in the target locations to sell or lease existing development sites, hotels or large buildings to be converted to hotel use.
We are searching for:
- Standalone hotels or part of mixed-use schemes.
- Particular focus on conversion of town centre offices and residential development sites that can be adapted.
- Travelodge will take a new, institutionally-acceptable, 25-year FRI lease with no breaks.
- 5 yearly rent reviews in line with CPI, collared at 0%, capped at 4%.
