Senior Commercial Portfolio Management surveyor  

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in commercial property management. RICS qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
• Be experienced in all aspects of property management including:

1. The 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act and its application at lease renewals
2. Reading and understanding commercial leases
3. Service charge budgeting, coding, and reconciliationHealth and safety awareness and knowledge of the legislation that drives it
4. The ability to advise on rent and debt collection
5. Dealing with tenant applications such Licences to alter and assign

• The ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication is required
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office IT systems (outlook/word/excel) is important

Outline of the role:

• Client reporting property management role
• Reporting into the Team Director
• You will need to make regular inspections of the properties
• Manage a mixed commercial portfolio based all over London and the UK
• Overseeing the maintenance and asset management of the properties via third party contractors and advisors
• Liaising with the accounts team on service charges and rent invoicing, end of year reconciliation and financial queries
